1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders, requests, and agreements with Vien Creations, based in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands.
By placing an order or submitting a request via our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Products & personalization
Vien Creations specializes in personalized engraved products.
Personalization may include:
custom text
uploaded designs, logos, or images
All personalization is prepared according to our standard engraving layouts and production process to ensure consistent quality.
3. Preview & approval
- For personalized products, we provide a visual preview before production.
Each order includes one refinement round to correct details such as spelling or alignment.
Additional changes, complex adjustments, or new layouts may incur a design fee.
Production starts only after approval of the preview.
Once approval is given, the order is considered final.
4. Uploaded designs & suitability
When uploading a design, logo, or image, the customer confirms that they have the right to use this material.
Uploaded designs are reviewed for suitability for engraving.
If a design requires adjustment to be engravable, we will inform you in advance.
Extensive redesigns may be subject to an additional fee.
5. Material characteristics & variations
Engraved results may vary depending on the chosen material.
Natural characteristics of materials such as wood, slate, or metal can affect:
tone
contrast
texture
Minor variations are considered part of the engraving process and do not constitute defects.
6. Prices & payment
All prices are listed in euros (€) and include applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.
Payment must be completed before production starts.
Vien Creations reserves the right to adjust prices at any time, without affecting confirmed orders.
7. Delivery & production time
Production starts after preview approval and receipt of payment.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and may vary due to workload, materials, or external factors.
Delays do not entitle the customer to compensation.
8. Right of withdrawal & returns
Due to the personalized nature of engraved products, customized items cannot be returned or refunded, unless the product is defective or incorrect due to an error by Vien Creations.
This is in accordance with EU consumer law regarding personalized goods.
9. Liability
Vien Creations is not liable for:
indirect or consequential damages
differences in appearance due to material variation
errors in approved designs
Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question.
10. Intellectual property
All designs, previews, and website content created by Vien Creations remain our intellectual property, unless otherwise agreed.
11. Applicable law
All agreements are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
